A new Addiction Recovery Care psychiatric facility has opened in Russell, Ky.
The 40-bed acute psychiatric facility, named Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center, officially opened Nov. 20, according to a Nov. 28 news release. It is located at the former Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, which closed in 2020.
Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center has already hired 40 staff members and will offer behavioral health and addiction treatment services to patients in the area with mental illness and substance use disorder.
The facility is part of Addiction Recovery Care, which currently operates more than 30 licensed addiction treatment centers across 22 countries in Central and Eastern Kentucky.
