Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare reported revenue of $828.8 million for the first quarter ending March 31, a 7.6% increase compared to the first quarter of 2025, according to an April 29 earnings report.
Here are six things to know:
- Same-facility revenue increased 7.3%, including a 5.6% increase in revenue per patient day and a 1.6% increase in patient days.
- Net income totaled $0.05 per diluted share, compared with $0.09 per diluted share in the prior-year period.
- Adjusted net income totaled $33.3 million, or $0.37 per diluted share, compared with $36.9 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, in the prior-year period.
- Adjusted EBITDA was $144.2 million, compared with $134.2 million in the prior-year period.
- Acadia added 82 newly licensed beds, including 42 at existing facilities and 40 at newly constructed facilities.
- The system expects second-quarter revenue of $835 to $850 million, with adjusted EBITDA of $142 to $152 million and adjusted earnings per diluted share of $0.30 to $0.40.
The system recently appointed an interim CFO and CEO.
