Crestwood Behavioral Health names program chief

Sacramento, Calif.-based Crestwood Behavioral Health has appointed David Bond as program chief for behavioral health. 

Mr. Bond joins the provider after several years working on the payer and policy side of behavioral health, according to a March 11 LinkedIn post. In his previous role, he served as enterprise behavioral health director at Blue Shield of California for more than seven years. 

He served as vice president of programs for the Trevor Project, where he oversaw and scaled crisis intervention and prevention programs for LGBTQ+ youths. He also spent more than seven years at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, where he managed programs focused on psychosocial wellness, college and career readiness and health education for underserved youths. 

In his new role, he will work with stakeholders across California to strengthen behavioral health programs and support recovery services.
