Once signed, the contract will begin immediately and run through Dec. 31, 2025. Funding for the contractor’s work will range from $5 million to $10 million, which will be allocated from the $300 million lawmakers passed to renew the system.

The contractor will work alongside the Department of Public Health and Human Services and the Behavioral Health System for Future Generations Commission, the report said.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
