Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia and Riverside Health, based in Newport News, Va., have reached a multi-year agreement to maintain in-network access to Riverside’s integrated care network.
The agreement allows Anthem members continued in-network access to Riverside’s hospitals, providers and outpatient services across eastern Virginia. It supports ongoing collaboration around care coordination, affordability and value-based care, according to a Jan. 23 news release.
Riverside operates four acute-care hospitals, a mental health and recovery hospital with a psychiatric emergency department and several specialty facilities.
