UHS’ CEO-to-worker pay ratio over the past 5 years

King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services CEO and President Marc Miller was paid between 221 and 309 times more than the median annual salary for an employee at the health system between 2021 and 2025, according to proxy statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

UHS determines its median employee by using the greater of the total annual W-2 wages of employees both in the U.S. and the U.K. or calculated annualized pay for those who commenced work during the year or were on a leave of absence. The employee population consisted of full-time, part-time and temporary workers.

Mr. Miller has served as UHS’ CEO since 2021.
