Tuscola, Ill.-based RISE Behavioral Health and Wellness will close its services, with clinical operations concluding May 22 and a full organizational transition ending June 30.
The decision followed review by the organization’s board and leadership amid ongoing funding and staffing challenges, according to a RISE Behavioral Health and Wellness news release. RISE said it will work with clients during the transition period to provide referrals and coordinate care with other providers.
The organization will continue operating after clinical services end to complete administrative responsibilities and fulfil remaining obligations.
The provider has served the Douglas County community for 50 years prior to the closure, according to the release.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
