King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services opened Three Trails Behavioral Hospital, a 120-bed behavioral health facility in Independence, Mo.
The 88,000-square-foot hospital will provide inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for children, adolescents, adults and seniors, according to a Sept. 21 news release shared with Becker’s.
The facility represents an investment of more than $60 million and will create more than 200 full-time jobs when fully operational.
Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will begin welcoming patients in September 2026.
