Tucson, Ariz.-based Artemis Adolescent Healing Center, an adolescent behavioral health provider, has expanded its continuum of care for teens.

The center now provides access to specialized therapeutic interventions for families in Arizona and nationwide, according to a Jan. 15 news release. The expansion aims to address rising rates of anxiety, depression and behavioral health issues among adolescents and will allow the center to serve a broader range of clinical needs.

The move comes amid a broader surge in youth behavioral health conditions. According to the CDC, nearly 1 in 5 children ages 3 to 17 have been diagnosed with a mental, emotional or behavioral condition as of 2021.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
