The Rescue Me CPR! App provides users with videos and instructions on how to revive an individual who has overdosed on fentanyl.
UC San Diego researchers are currently studying the app’s effectiveness, which has shown that even those without training can help resuscitate someone within 45 seconds through CPR and emergency care, Dr. Greenberg told the news outlet.
Dr. Greenberg conceived the app after his daughter attended at a party where another individual was believed to have overdosed.
The app is free and now available to download.
