Suicide prevention startup scores $22M from CVS, others

Vita Health, a startup providing care management for suicide prevention, raised $22.5 million in series A funding.

Vita Health’s backers include CVS Health Ventures, LFE Capital, Athyrium Capital Management, Flare Capital Partners and CU Healthcare Innovation Fund, according to a Jan. 9 news release. 

Vita Health was founded in 2021 by several experts specializing in suicide prevention. The company provides value-based care coordination models to providers, payers, employers and other groups.
