Mental health platform raises $9M in series A funding round

Blueprint, a technology platform for mental health providers, recently underwent a series A funding round. Here are five things to know:

  1. Blueprint, a Chicago-based technology platform centered toward mental health clinicians, announced it raised $9 million in a series A funding round.
  2. The platform provides technology focused on accumulating data-driven insights to help mental health clinicians demonstrate more personalized care to each patient, according to a June 27 news release from Blueprint.
  3. Blueprint's automatic clinical documentation capabilities save clinicians up to two hours per week on administrative tasks, according to the release.
  4. The platform allows collaboration between clinicians and patients to discuss how future care should be adjusted to be more effective. Patients who have used the platform in the past have displayed a 44 percent faster treatment response than patients participating in traditional mental healthcare.
  5. The series A round was co-led by Ensemble VC and Lightbank, accompanied by participation from Bonfire Ventures, Tau Ventures, Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund and Data Tech Fund, according to the release.
