Primary and urgent care providers at HCA Healthcare can now refer patients to Talkiatry psychiatrists through HCA's EMR.
According to an April 3 news release from Talkiatry, HCA providers can refer patients to Talkiatry providers when the system or community resources do not have capacity to treat patients with mental health needs quickly.
Talkiatry can typically schedule patients referred through EMR for a visit within five days, according to the news release.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare is the largest health system in the U.S., with over 180 facilities.
Talkiatry, a mental telehealth provider, employs over 300 psychiatrists.
