The facility comes from a partnership between the Gibson Center for Behavioral Change and the Community Counseling Center, both based in Cape Girardeau.
It will serve individuals 18 and older, be open 24/7, and provide crisis stabilization, psychiatric care and assessment, brief supportive counseling, peer support services, and more.
At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
