Froedtert Menomonee Falls (Wis.) Hospital is closing its behavioral health unit May 12, CBS 58 reported May 8.
“This decision was made with careful consideration as we focus our efforts on outpatient behavioral health services for appropriate patient populations,” Froedtert told the news outlet.
Though the dedicated unit will close, the hospital will continue to treat behavioral health patients, according to the report.
