The two projects in Lewis and Pierce counties aim to support Washington residents who are experiencing a mental health crisis or are in need of withdrawal management services, according to a Nov. 13 news release from the department.
$2.45 million was designated to Trouvés Health Care Corp. in Fife to purchase and renovate an existing facility to add 16 new crisis stabilization beds and 10 crisis observation recliners.
Meanwhile, $1.83 million will go toward redesigning and remodeling Cascade Community Healthcare’s 23-hour crisis care treatment center in Centralia to increase the facility’s treatment capacity by 400%, according to the release.
