This move marks the second phase of Compass’ Broadway Campus Redevelopment, according to an Oct. 12 news release. The three-phase project aims to develop a regional center that will offer the full continuum of primary and behavioral healthcare and permanent supportive housing services.

The 70,000-square-foot facility is expected to treat roughly 1,300 patients annually and will include a 16-bed evaluation and treatment unit, a 16-bed crisis triage center, intensive outpatient behavioral health services and offices for crisis prevention, outreach and community engagement teams.

Construction is expected to be completed in summer 2025.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
