WakeMed approved for $137M behavioral health center

Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed has received regulatory approval for two new hospitals, including a $137 million behavioral health facility, WHQR reported Feb. 21.

The 150-bed hospital will be built in Knightdale, N.C. 

WakeMed was also approved for a $214 million hospital in Garner, N.C. It filed a certificate of need request for the two facilities in 2022.
