US News’ top 10 hospitals for psychiatry

U.S. News & World Report released its list of the best hospitals for psychiatry July 26, with Boston-based McLean Hospital, Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, also in Boston, ranking in the top three.

The ranking involved 800 hospitals. 

The top 10 hospitals for psychiatry, according to U.S. News:

1. McLean Hospital (Boston)

2. Johns Hopkins Hospital (Baltimore)

3. Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston)

4. New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell (New York City)

5. University of California-San Francisco Medical Center

6. Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA (Los Angeles)

7. Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn.)

8. Yale New Haven (Conn.) Hospital

9. Sheppard Pratt Hospital (Baltimore)

10. Menninger Clinic (Houston)
