UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes in Somerset, Pa., has expanded its inpatient treatment facility, according to a June 30 report from the Daily American.
The expansion was part of a $16 million project and includes renovation of the existing facility, in addition to a new 19,300-square-foot building. The project has expanded existing capacity by 60 percent, and the facility now offers 24 treatment beds, the report said.
The improvements will also allow for 15 new jobs at the facility, including five nurses.
