UW Medicine is planning to build a 184,000-square-foot behavioral health teaching facility in Seattle that will also offer behavioral health treatment, local real estate news site the Registry reported July 21.
The facility is a joint venture between local architecture firm SRG Partnership, health technology company and construction team Clark|Abbott and the University of Washington in Seattle. It will offer interdisciplinary training and development programs for healthcare students.
Services will include medication management, multiple forms of therapy, neuromodulation treatments and general medical and surgical care for individuals with behavioral health conditions.
The center is expected to open by the end of 2023.
