Synchronous Health offers telehealth sessions with mental health specialists, which will improve the one- to three-month wait time that kids experiencing crises have faced at Burlington, Mass.-based Tufts Medicine, according to an Aug. 8 press release from Synchronous Health.

Additionally, the platform uses an artificial intelligence bot called Karla to provide 24/7 behavioral and mental health support to users, including personalized guidance, coping strategies and tailored resources determined by patients and their therapists.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
