Trinity Health to open new mental health facility by 2025

Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health and King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services’ new joint-venture mental health facility is expected to open in 2025, NBC affiliate WOOD reported Feb. 21.

Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Byron Center, Mich., will have 96 rooms for adult and older patients and plans to hire 170 staff members. 

Building design is still in development, with construction slated to begin in summer 2023.
