The center is looking to raise $50,000 on Nov. 29, Giving Tuesday, to top off an almost $4 million campaign, the report said. The funding will be used to bolster the bed count from 12 to 22, with a maximum stay of about 30 days.
After the expansion, the center is expected to have capacity to help about 550 people per year, more than double the current figure, the report said.
