Tech company opens behavioral health clinic

New York City-based Quartet, a behavioral healthcare treatment coordination company, formed its own mental health clinic.

Quartet's new in-house clinic will partner with primary care providers and community resources in areas where it is difficult to access mental healthcare services, according to a Nov. 15 news release from the company.

The clinic's team of psychiatrists, social workers and other mental health providers will offer services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits and ongoing therapy and will work to secure resources for patients including food, housing and more, according to the release.

"Our clinic represents a major milestone in Quartet's commitment to improving access and speed to care," Sherry Dubester, MD, the company's chief clinical strategy and quality officer, said in the release. "But we're not done yet. We are excited to enter new markets and share results as our clinical care population and data set grows."

The company employs more than 200 clinicians and serves more than 500,000 patients each year across 32 states.
