In June, Retreat Behavioral Health’s inpatient facilities in those three states abruptly closed after one of its CEO died by suicide. A second executive died shortly thereafter, also by suicide

Retreat’s only living owner has not cooperated with efforts to sell the business, according to LancasterOnline.

Retreat’s campuses must be sold to an operator willing to reopen them or the facilities would be completely wound down, Judge James Young, appointed receiver, said.

The closure of Retreat’s facilities left 650 employees without  jobsand without pay for hours worked. Mr. Young has been able to return some unpaid funds to employees, LancasterOnline reported.
