Software company Proem Behavioral Health has formed an agreement with EHR vendor Athenahealth to offer Proem's integrated application to Athenahealth's network of healthcare providers.
Proem is the exclusive licensee of several of the leading behavioral health scales and measurements, including the mini international neuropsychiatric interview, the Sheehan disability scale, the Yale-Brown obsessive compulsive scale and the body dysmorphic disorder questionnaire, according to an Aug. 3 news release.
The Proem software also offers workflow technology, decision support and improved clinical outcomes, the release said.
"Using Proem, athenaOne users will gain insight that aids in assessing and diagnosing mental illness and determining the optimal next steps to take in a patient's care," Proem CEO John Letter said in the release. "This leads to a significant result: better outcomes for those suffering from mental illness."
