Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties plan to partner with Phoenix-based behavioral health urgent care provider Connections Health Solutions, which has already worked with local officials to open emergency mental health centers across the country.

The center, which is expected to open in late 2024, will include observation units and residential beds with separate units for children and aims to offer mental healthcare to residents of the Harrisburg, Pa., region around the clock, the report said.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
