Patient breaks staff member’s leg at Ohio behavioral health hospital

Police were called to Generations Behavioral Health-Youngstown in Ohio after a patient broke a staff member’s leg, CBS affiliate WKBN reported Dec. 9.

The patient was upset about being admitted, swept the staff member’s right leg and stomped on his knee, according to police reports obtained by the outlet.

The staff member’s right tibia was broken. He was due to receive surgery Dec. 7. 

The patient was charged with a felony, according to WKBN.
