As part of a proposed overhaul to Montana's behavioral health system, Gov. Greg Gianforte's administration is considering infrastructure investments aimed at improving services for individuals with mental illness, substance abuse disorders and developmental disabilities, KFF Health News reported Jan. 27. 

Reimbursement will be one of the biggest challenges facing behavioral health this year, according to Robert Trestman, MD, PhD, professor and chair of psychiatry at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Holy Hill Hospital in Raleigh, N.C., has halted child and adolescent admissions as state surveyors conduct an investigation at the psychiatric facility, according to local news outlets.
