The facility typically treated 19 to 20 patients at a time, the station reported. The closure leaves more than 50 employees without a job, according to WKRC.

Georgetown Behavioral Hospital is owned by Florida-based Oglethorpe. The company operates nine behavioral health facilities in Florida, Louisiana and Ohio.

Becker’s has reached out to Oglethorpe and will update this article if more information becomes available.
