Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare has opened a new Lifeskills South Florida campus in Fort Lauderdale.
The 34-bed facility will offer mental health and addiction services, according to an Aug. 10 news release. The campus will provide a nontraditional level 1 residential program and detoxification services and will be staffed 24/7 by nurses.
"We've seen the acuity of our clients' symptoms continue to increase over the last few years across our residential locations nationwide," Odyssey CEO Richard Clark said in the release. "We purposely developed this new facility at Lifeskills in response to this shift in demand for these levels of care."
