The 120-bed hospital will provide inpatient and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with mental health issues and substance use disorders, according to a Nov. 17 news release from Oceans Healthcare.

“This new hospital is the next step in our partnership with Ochsner and its acute care providers to bring important mental health services that, for many, have been out of reach,” Stuart Archer, CEO of Oceans Healthcare, said in the release.

No location has been selected, but the hospital is slated to open in late 2024.
