NYC Health + Hospitals’ $1M plan to retain behavioral health staff

The recipients are a mix of new and existing employees, including licensed clinical social workers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists and psychiatrists. They will receive between $30,000 and $50,000 of student debt relief in exchange for a three-year commitment to the organization, according to the release.

The repayment program, announced in Summer 2022, was made possible by a $1 million donation from an anonymous donor.
