Northwell’s Outpacing the Impossible program will use the funds to expand its pediatric behavioral health and research; improve its cancer treatment, research and support groups; and build a new outpatient medical center in New York City to make healthcare more accessible to the community, according to a Sept. 21 news release from the health system.
In response to surpassing the $1 billion goal, the nonprofit expanded its fundraising campaign through December 2024 with a goal of raising an additional $400 million.
