New NYC behavioral health clinic lands $425K federal grant

New York City-based Interfaith Medical Center received a $425,000 federal grant for its newly renovated behavioral health clinic, Brooklyn Paper reported April 18.

The hospital, part of One Brooklyn Health, started renovating the unit in March 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic derailed construction plans, the report said. The 12,500-square-foot facility has 24 beds, and each room includes a private bathroom.

Current patients contributed to the design, the report said.
