The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is constructing a new mental health hospital in Oklahoma City.
Donahue Behavioral Health will be built on the Oklahoma State University campus in the city, according to a Sept. 11 news release from the department. The $147 million, 330-bed facility aims to serve 275 adult and 55 adolescent patients daily, offering both acute care and outpatient services.
The hospital will increase the agency's operational capacity by 100 beds and will add an estimated 250 jobs.
