The grants will be used to develop implementation plans for child and adolescent health centers in Alma Public Schools and St. Louis Public Schools in Gratiot County. The grants will allow MyMichigan Health to form community partnerships to determine the most effective service models.

MyMichigan Health has also partnered with Community Mental Health for Central Michigan, which received a grant to support the Shepherd Public School District in Isabella County. These grants represent the first efforts to develop child and adolescent health centers in Gratiot and Isabella counties, according to the Morning Sun.
