The Montana Medical Association, the National Alliance on Mental Illness Montana chapter, Great Falls, Mont.-based Benefis Health System and Helena, Mont.-based Shodair Children’s Hospital all spoke in support of the proposal, according to the news outlet.
“I can’t emphasize enough what dire situation we have with our mental health system, both adult and children,” State Representative Ed Stafman told the station.
