Bolivar, Mo.-based Citizens Memorial Hospital will open a new behavioral health facility in February to serve patients while they wait to get established with a provider, Bolivar Herald-Free Press reported Jan. 25.
The CMH Behavioral Health Transitional Clinic will be part of CMH's Butterfield Park Medical Center, also in Bolivar, and will be run by Tara Billingslea, a certified mental health nurse practitioner. It will care for patients 6 years old and up who are unable to get an immediate behavioral health appointment, by referral from a medical provider only.
Ms. Billingslea will provide counseling, medication management and education for patients until they are paired with a CMH behavioral health provider.
The facility will officially open Feb. 1.
