The grant will come from the city’s $52 million in America Rescue Plan Act funds. The center will cost $15 million and is part of an overall $100 million project in the city’s medical corridor, according to the publication.

The new center is associated with Central Michigan University Medical Education Partners, a collaboration between the university and Ascension’s St. Mary’s Hospital and Covenant Healthcare, both in Saginaw.

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
