Mercy Health, Lifepoint to build behavioral health hospital in Ohio

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health and Cincinnati-based Mercy Health have partnered to build an inpatient behavioral health hospital in Ohio’s Mahoning Valley area.

The 75,000-square-foot, 72-bed Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital will provide inpatient services for adults with a variety of mental health conditions, according to a Jan. 18 news release from Mercy Health. Lifepoint will manage the hospital’s daily operations.

 

The facility is projected for completion in late 2024 and will be the sixth joint venture between the healthcare groups.
