The Maryland Community Health Resources Commission approved 129 grants based on recommendations from the Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports. The approved programs will begin in the spring and continue through 2025.
Among the largest award recipients is Sheppard Pratt Health System, which received $4 million to provide residents of Frederick County with individual and family therapy, case management and psychiatric services. It also received $6.5 million to establish similar services across Howard, Prince George’s and Washington counties.
