Maryland representative dedicates $1M in funding to outpatient mental health clinic

Rep. David Trone of Maryland secured $33 million in funding to use for 15 community projects, allocating $1 million to create an outpatient mental health clinic.

Baltimore-based Sheppard Pratt, a nonprofit mental health provider, will develop the center in Washington County, according to a May 16 news release from Mr. Trone’s office. 

Mr. Trone serves Maryland’s sixth district, encompassing Montgomery, Frederick, Garrett, Allegany and Washington counties.
