Magellan Health adds youth cognitive behavioral health services

Magellan Health, a Centene subsidiary, has launched two digital cognitive behavioral therapy programs.

The two programs — ThinkHero and ThinkWarrior — are aimed at adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 and focus on anxiety-related symptoms by offering anxiety management skills and problem-solving techniques, according to a March 5 news release.

"Magellan's new clinically validated DCBT solutions support children and adolescents with evidence-based therapies to address current symptoms and build a foundation for lifelong anxiety management. These tools also extend the capacity of clinicians to care for children in the primary care space," Caroline Carney, MD, president of behavioral health and chief medical officer of Magellan Health, said in the release.
