Detroit-based Corktown Health is opening a clinic focused on LGBTQ+ and underserved patients in Hazel Park, Mich., The Oakland Press reported Sept. 16.
The clinic will be supported by a $2 million grant from the state and is looking to raise a total of $8 million for the project. It will offer comprehensive and inclusive healthcare services, including behavioral healthcare.
The 19,000-square-foot clinic is expected to open in late 2024 and will have roughly 20 employees, the report said.
