Kindred Behavioral Health joins Lifepoint Health

Kindred Behavioral Health and Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health have partnered to form Lifepoint Behavioral Health.

Through the partnership, Lifepoint Behavioral Health aims to ease overcrowding in emergency departments by providing specialized behavioral healthcare services, improve quality of care and better meet the needs of patients, according to the company’s website.

Lifepoint Health operates locations across 28 states, including primary care practices, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care clinics, assisted living facilities and emergency departments.
