Mr. Burdick formerly held executive positions at Centene, WellCare and UnitedHealthcare.
“[Mr. Burdick] is an accomplished industry veteran with a deep understanding of today’s healthcare landscape and a history of driving profitable growth at companies that are truly making a difference in people’s lives,” LifeStance’s board of directors said in a Sept. 8 news release from the company.
Mr. Burdick is replacing Michael Lester, the company’s founder.
“We wish [Mr. Lester] all the best as he transitions to retirement and look forward to continuing our relationship with [him] in his new role as a strategic adviser to the company,” the board said in the release.
