The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration awarded the center a four-year grant that will go toward its proposal to become a top community mental health agency in the state, the report said.

“It’s important for us because it helps our clients,” Crawford County Mental Health Executive Director Heather Spaur told KSN. “It helps the people in our community and it provides a sustainable model so that we can provide the services that are needed, and we’re able to fund them going forward to continue that.”

At the Becker's Fall Behavioral Health Summit, taking place November 4–5 in Chicago, behavioral health leaders and executives will explore strategies for expanding access to care, integrating services, addressing workforce challenges and leveraging innovation to improve outcomes across the behavioral health continuum.
