The expansion will be led by a licensed master social worker who has completed clinical supervision with the State of Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board and will provide outpatient therapy services from the RRH Physicians Clinic setting, according to a press release posted April 20 by radio station KRSL

The program will offer a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, methods and techniques to treat symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship distress, parenting issues, stress and co-occurring substance use. Services will be tailored to each patient.

It is expected to offer services for adolescents, adults, families and couples, as well as support groups.

“Mental health services is an issue that has been at the top of my list to address since I arrived at RRH almost two years ago, due to the identified need that had been expressed in three previous community health needs assessments that Russell has participated in since 2015,” David Caudill, CEO of RRH, said in the news release.

The program is set to launch this summer.
